The North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago is nothing short of amazing. It has a history that goes back well into the mid 1800s. Home of the original Sears Tower, North Lawndale’s has a legacy that includes a rich Jewish history, as well as a legacy left by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. himself. Come see why they say the “West side is the best.” Come see the block Dr. King lived on during the Chicago Freedom Movement, Stone Temple Baptist Church, and the original “Sears Tower” just to name a few. Book NOW!!! DATES: January 13-14, 2024 February 11th, 2024 **PLEASE READ*** This tour leaves from Douglas Park. You can find the Field House inside Douglas Park by turning on Thompson Drive. You will see the bus near the field house. You can park your car in the park or on the streets nearby. Please pay attention to all parking signs as we are not responsible for your vehicle. One lap child per adult (children under 2.) This tour is a bus tour. We generally only exit the bus one time per tour. Come see the only church in Chicago with a history that includes the Queen of Romania and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
